AC20 not working properly.

My ac20 isn't... well doing anything.
Nothing is going up the intake. It's on, no clogs, and you can hear the motor.
Not sure what else to tell ya...

is the back of the AC primed? also is the intake on high, and fully seated? are you sure the impeller is moving?

Primed as in filled with water, yes.
What do you mean by high? And by seated if you mean directly where it is supposed to be where it is, yes.
No, I just hear a buzz. Plant material could have gotten in and trapped it I guess.

If you can take it apart to look at the impeller or at least wash the filter (take the media out). That might help with the problem.

some times i need to give the impeller a small push to get it moving then its fine.....

Sounds to me the impeller is spun (shaft not attached). The rod spins making the noise but the impeller fins do not. Replacement impellers are inexpensive and an immidiate fix.

Lol, but seriously its true!

Great news: I got it working. I poked the impeller multiple times and pushed it, and after some priming, it works great!
Genocide and his bunnies save the day!
