Are fish parasites contagious to humans?

OH NO. I knew I should not have mentioned the TB thing! Simply wash your hands before and after putting them in the tank (I always forget the before part) and don't put your hands in the tank if you have a big cut on your hand. But since your fish don't have TB, you don't have a problem.

No, don't think fish have TB after reading the links you attached and researching it. Neither do I think I have it---symptoms don't match at all. But thanks for the info none-the-less. Prefer to be educated about it anyway. Don't worry---not a hypochondriac here.

Woo!! Not just me that happens to! I am a ginger though so theres a lot of freckles to nibble
