When I plant it, do I remove the SMALLER plastic pot from the plant before putting in my tank?! its says obviously remove the larger one and wash all the gell out but do I put it back in the smaller pot like plastic thing or just plant it in my tank bare root?!

Take it out of the pot and plant the roots in the substrate.
If you have plants like Anubis or Java Fern, attached the rhizome to some driftwood or a rock and let the roots grow into the substrate. If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

Hopefully (with fingers crossed) you'll get lucky and not have to go through what I did with live plants..... I've had aquariums for 30 years but just this year started a new one with live plants this time. I've almost regretted doing so..... With the plants came snails, which made more snails they made even more snails.....

If so, keep this in the back of your mind if you don't like gazillions of them in your tank...... purchase a handful of "Assassin Snails".... They have totally eliminated all my pest snails and are even fun to watch.... unlike the pond snails.

So I just bought the small packaged plant which I'm sure theres a chance their in there... lol, thanks for the heads up.... Just in case they do show up, the assasin snails don't mess with anythign?

You could dip the plants before adding them to your tank. There are several ways to kill the snails without harming the plants. I use a few teaspoons of alum with dechlorinated water, let them soak for about 3 days then rinse in fresh water, dechlorinated of course. I have never had a snail infestation.
Someday, when I have all the fish tanks I want, I hope to be featured on an episode of animal hoarders.
