first, make sure your new tank is cycled. you might want to add a few decorations from your estabilished tank to your new tank to speed up the cycle. then, once your new tank is cycled, you can just syphon your tank water into a tub or bucket, and put your fish into the bucket with the tank water. if you have a powerhead or an air stone put it in the bucket for circulation. make sure you have circulation in the bucket if you think this will take more thank 30 minutes or so. then you can scoop your substrate out and put it in the other tank, and move your decorations. after that you should be good to go ahead and add your fish. make it as easy as you can on the fish to reduce stress.
Finally reached 6 tanks... oh god, this addiction is getting serious. 75g mbuna tank, 65g gold severum, 55g OB peacock breeding colony, 30g(36x18) growout, 20 long Dwarf Alto's, 10g fry tank.
If I die young bury me in... An 8x2x2 with versa tops and a large sump for adequate filtration;)
