    I'm worried right now. Something white is growing on my fake plants. Not a lot, but each day i think it increases. What can that be? You can see it in the middle.

    Just clean the white stuff off - if it keeps returning, then it may be an issue.
    Knowledge is fun(damental)

    A 75 gal with eight Discus, fake plants, and a lot of wood also with sand substrate. Clean up crew is fifteen Sterba's Corys. Filters: canister w/UV, in-tank algae scrubber that removes phosphates and nitrates! Also, a highly dangerous commercial nitrate removal unit from hell

    I checked for ammonia today, and it dropped from 2 to 1, but nitrites are still at 0. It is normal for there to be a delay of several days between the time ammonia drops and nitrItes show up?
