Jasper -- Newest Member of the Family
Around about 2 weeks ago, we adopted the newest member of our family ... a 10 month old siberian husky. We adopted him from a rescue group. He was an owner surrender ... we don't have much information on his previous owner, but that's ok.
He already knows his name, shakes, and sits. We are still working on heeling and other such obedience type things .... He's terribly smart, but also quite willful. And has some unique mannerisms that make me SWEAR that he's part cat

I like dogs too,
but as it is its just too expensive for me to be able to feed proper food to a dog( most of whats out there is garbage and as it is I can barely afford proper food for my two cats) the owner of our place wont let us get one anyway.

So beautiful, I love huskies! Hope you're ready for their energy level, they need a lot of exercise! I'd love to have one but my 8 cats would be dog food in no time.
8 tanks running now:
1x 220 gallon, 2x55 gallon, 1x40 gallon long, 1x29 gallon, 1x20 gallon long, 1x5.5 gallon, 1x2 gallon
Gouramis, barbs, rasboras, plecos, corys, tetras, fancy guppies, swordtails, ottos, rainbow shark, upside-down catfish, snails, and Max and Sparkles the bettas.

Thanks :)
He's not the first husky either of us have had. The SO has had 3 other siberians in his lifetime, and I used to have malamutes long ago. Jasper is probably the most cat-like of all the ones we've had experience with, I think.
He gets plenty of walks and hikes through the woods every day between the two of us.
One of his favorite things to do during the day is watch the fish in the 40 breeder. He could care less about the TV. I should probably get a picture at some point of him "watching" the tank.

Aww he is adorable, and I'm sure he will forgive you for calling him cat-like! Dogs are awesome that way with the forgiveness.
If it's called tourist season why can't I shoot them?
Brutal honesty will be shown on this screen.
I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
Tolerance is a great thing to have, so is the ability to shut up.
