Pearl Gourami
im looking at getting just one male gourami as a centre piece for my tank, are they ok on their own? do they show more or less aggression wen on their own?
he would be with harlequins, corys, golden barbs and a single German Blue Ram

depends on gourami. MOST of the time IME they are very peaceful alone.

I have owned 3 pearl gouramis. currently have 2 - male and female. They are such a wonderful and peaceful fish. A male should be fine on his own. They do frighten easily so very fast or nippy fish not good.
Allergic to all things furry.
