    Default When will my pregnant Guppy drop her fry?

    Hi there! I am just wondering if anyone can tell me when my pregnant guppy will drop her fry? I got her from the pet shop 3 weeks ago and she had a darkish gravid spot then, Im very excited! and would love to see them be born!!

    Guppies with a dark spot aren't always pregnant. I've had a few with a "gravid" style spot that haven't been pregnant. If she is then it should be between 3-5 weeks from fertilization.

    If she does have fry you will need to remove them either into another tank or into a breeding cage so that the mother (and other fish) won't eat them.
