jump ?
I have many corydoras species. Hardly any jump.
I have one or two accidents so far and is more of unsuitable water, poor environment, too high a water level, startled/frightened or sick fish which mis-time their gulp to surface for air. Combination of 2 or more will trigger higher event.
Nevertheless it seldom happen.

I have albinos. They jump. They jump real good too! In a divided tank with my bettas and frogs... I try so hard to keep 1 frog and 3 cories per side, but currently have... 2 frogs and 5 cories on one side and 1 cory all alone on other. They jump the divider like it isnt even there. Frustrating really. But glad i have a lid. Definitely suggest a lid.

I think the bettas is the problem causing them to jump.

they all jumped from the side with the peaceful betta to the side with the mean one. The bettas ignore them though, so i dont think thats it. Everything i put i that tank jumps. Except bettas, thank God. That wouldnt end well...

I must be lucky. I have many cories but never use any cover/hoot for all my tanks.
