I have 7 females and 2 males and never see one baby either. The loaches will probably hunt down every last one that makes it to the plant cover alive. Before they get there though they have to get past the mom's, the dad, and that firemouth. If you get even 1 survivor out of that tank without using a breeder trap i would be amazed. I use a trap when i want babies. Thats the only way i can do it.
