hand feeding pacific cleaner shrimp.
I have a pacific cleaner shrimp in my tank but i noticed that everytime i feed; it doesnt seem to get enough food.
I am contemplating handfeeding and wanted to know if it was safe ...so that i dont lose my finger for a just cause...lol

I used to feed mine all the time. I have a coral banded shrimp now and I hand feed him, he has bigger pinchers then a cleaner and you dont even feel anything but a little tickle lol.55 Gallon Freshwater

When I kept shrimp I would feed them flakes using a pair of tweezers. It seemed to work really well for meIf you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

They are shrimp,if you are feeding the tank then you are feeding them. They do a much better job of keeping the tank clean if they have to actually look for food. And yes,you could hand feed them, all my shrimp rush to my hand when I dropper feed the corals.
