I bought this little guy from my lfs a few months ago.
Since ive had him i cant seem to find any info on him.
He's pretty shy and likes to hide, unlike my goofy yoyo loach.
other than that idk anything about him.

    help would be appreciated.
heres a pic of him in my tank.

    cool little fish.

Likely you'd see him more if he had a few buddies.
But I don't know anything about that species in particular.
Loaches in general are much more active and visible if there are a group of them.

hmm. i was thinking about getting more. they weren't very active in the lfs either. they all just layed on each other lol.
they are interesting because it almost barely seem like they can swim.
he will go on the side of the tank and just wiggle and thrust his way up the side, then just plop to the bottom lol.

i figured my yoyo loach would be inactive because he is the only one(he was the last one in the store) but he loves to play tag with my corys.

I would just hope that the "barely can swim" isn't stress and it's normal.

His behaviour certainly sounds like a weather loach
    My therapist says I need a bigger tank . . . . .
