Back to Freshwater tanks.

Hello all!

I've had fish tanks for about 8 years now, as many as four at one time, when I left for college I gave away all my fish except for my 55 gallon salt water tank which I have maintained on trips home. Although it's really self sufficient, only has 4 small damsels. Now I've decided to start up a small 12 gallon freshwater tank at my apartment as my 55 gallon is at my moms house. Got it all setup yesterday and added a few fish today, two small angel fish two small honey gouramis and four spotlight tetras. The tank is planted and I added a bottle of the cycle bateria yesterday so I'm hoping the cycling process is painless. Excited to have some fish close by again and to be a part of this community.

Hey, welcome to the forums! I bet you wont be satisfied with the 12 when you've had bigger tanks hahaha!! Any bets on how long before an upgrade?

Haha well I'd like to say never but I also know that I got into fishtanks because of a gold fish that I won from a fair for $0.25... next thing I knew there was a 55 gallon tank in our living room. For now it'll have to be until I move to my next destination. I don't want to try and transport a giant tank around North Carolina. So at least a few months!
