So its time the tort got a journal!

Here's where we start:
3foot wooden viv with sliding glass fronts.
Dark brown bark substrate
Fluorescent tube for lighting
Basking light
Heat mat
Thermostat for heat mat
Food and water dishes
And last but not least a 2.5inch Hermanns tortoise called wizzle!

Viv is brand new so its pretty bare, will be adding a shelter and decor soonish!

Any photos forthcoming? Haven't kept tortoises since I was a teen, but still interested in them.

I've got plenty on my phone but the forums won't let me upload them into threads :( says they r too big over the mb limit, the camera on my phne is pretty rubbish so I don't see how they can be too big :(

There's a sticky I think in technical on how to format photos for upload. Do you already have the photos on a site like photobucket?

I think I managed to upload one pic into the photo forum of my rams feeding, that was it though. I have always used my phone for submiting pics for photo competitions before and they always work, just the threads I'm having bother with, will read the sticky though!

Right I have managed to upload a pic into members galleries under the heading other pets, keywords tortoise, hermanns, scottishfish, have a look and let me know what you think of the wee beauty!

Cheers MLB for posting it! I'm not good with computers and even worse on my phone! You would think being a teenager I'd be a whizz kid!

Yeah he/she is around 2.5inches and fits into the palm of my hand, hermanns when fully grown reach 15-25cm roughly so they aren't too big :)
