Dachshunds

Hey everybody!
Just was wondering who had dachshunds? I have 2 miniature longhaired dachshunds. A second question: who can spell dachshunds without spell check? :)

I dont have any dachshunds, but i can spell them. :) I even pronounce them "dahks-hoonds" while everyone around me says "dash-hounds". I think they are so funny and personable. My friend had one named Scrappy. A short haired full size one. My neighbor had a shorthaired mini one that died recently. :( And there's one at the dog park that is adorable, a long haired puppy. Shes wierd and doesnt let people pet her though, she sniffs and runs away everytime. But she likes to play with the dogs, and my dog loves to chase her. :)

i dont own one but my gf (whom im living with) has one... boy is he not intelligent at all...

Yeah, my dachshunds are also pretty... slow. Not exactly the sharpest knife in drawer, if you know what I mean. :) My old dachshunds were very smart though. :) We were able to teach them to use their noses to push down on a fake bone connected to a treat machine so that it dispensed bacon. Mmm. Bacon. One of my current dachshunds is kind of weird and sleeps on his back and fidgets a lot in his sleep. A few days ago I slept with him and he kicked me in the eye in the middle of the night. :)
