  1. Default Species?

Hey, today I purchased a catfish (grows the 8 inch, that is all I can remember) at a local pet shop. I now forget what species it was and I am in need of

    Here is the description:

As a whole the catfish is thin and long, it has a sucker mouth, but it does not appear to be a pleco. It has an extremely elongated tail that ends with a pointed fin. Again, its most notable feature is its long, long, long tail.

Any ideas? Just tell me any species you know that fits the description and I will search em'

Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.
Why pretend there are no stupid questions? Actually, There are many stupid questions: "Should I drink this bleach?" Is just one example.
Having said that, Just because it's a stupid question doesn't mean that it shouldn't be asked. It's better to know.

A warm beer is better than a cold beer. Because nothing is better than a cold beer, and a warm beer is better than nothing.

Yes, it does sound like a whiptail if it is, then technically a pleco.
