Hi! I'm new and so desperately want to learn how to do things right. Do you add dechlorinator to the drained tank and then refill or do you add the dechlorinator to the fresh water bucket and then pour it into the drained tank?

Add the dechlorinator to the fresh water bucket and then pour it into the drained tank. Only enough to "dechlorinate" the new amount of fresh water.
