low light floater

Hi i am looking for a floating plant that that will tolerate low light about .5 watts per gallon. I know absolutely nothing about floating plants.

Oh and the plant should be able to stand the high current from two big bio wheels.

Floating plants are only inches from the tank light so most all should do pretty well, I'd think. Not like plants on the bottom of the tank.

can they handle currents or should i not do floaters because of the power full out put of my two bio wheels

I have looked and i really like the looks of frogbit an Salvinia would they do okay in my tank with .5 watts per gallon, high ph of 8-9, and high current. I could try a diy diffuser for the current but the bio wheels are so big the current might still be strong. could i keep both of the plants i mentioned together?
