moss grow speed
I am looking for a moss that will grow in a tank with under a what per gallon about half what is what i half per gallon and a moss that wont take over my tank.
I have read stories of java moss taking over peoples tank and growing in filters and out of the tank and not going away, is this true?
If any one knows a good moss please let me know.

Java Moss, Christmas Moss, Flame Moss, Taiwan Moss, and Willow Moss are different variations of mosses that can be grown in just about any tank. The only way a moss can get as bad as the stories you've heard is if the owner (you in this case) neglects weekly maintenance which should include trimming/pruning of the moss if you don't want it grow to a crazy amount. A pair of stainless scissors can do amazing things. Hope this helps!

my brain melted trying to understand that, i have some christmas moss and its growing pretty well. for some reason no matter what i just cannot get java moss to grow, i actually think that i may have too much light for it or soemthing but i have heard that java moss is very easy to grow a well.

Try the christmas moss as it grows in a neater form and a bit slower then java. So I hear at least. Will see how mine does.
