Moss balls
I know marimos moss is actually algae but every one post about it in the moss section.
I was wondering if the moss balls would work in my ultra low light tank which has around .5 watts per gallon?
Also can i spread it out on a coconut and have it grow on the top?

Actually I've heard that it 'grows' in anything. I don't know. But I have low light and it is growing thicker. I split and spread mine over a piece of driftwood and though it hasn't grown over and up it, it's getting thicker. I did place a tad bit of my ecocomplete under it between wood and moss. It is sort of cool looking. And I hear you can just re roll it and it'll form a ball again if you decide.
