things on live rock?
I picked up a piece of live rock from my lfs, its been sitting in my tank for a few days and when i picked it up it looked like there were tiny brittle starfish moving around in it, and a polyp looking thing on it that went back in the hole when i touched it. i dont think ill be able to get picks. they are two small. anyone have any ideas what they are?
edit: and little tiny bugs crawling around. is this normal? lolLast edited by ridgenesss; 04-01-2012 at 02:11 AM.

As for the first two hitch hikers, I'm not too sure (based on the discription). The below thread can help you with that

As for the tiny bugs, those are pods.If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

Most of them are completely harmless. I have a few in my 120 gallon reef.
They can become a part of your CUC.If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

Looks like a glass anemone (aiptasia). You don't want that in your tank as it will spread like a weed. If you have a syringe and some lemon juice, stick the needle right in it's mouth and fill it with the lemon juice. You can also buy Aiptasia-X or other glass anemone killers at your LFS.
