thanks kat. me too. btw that small bunch of plants that i cut for you, it grew up and i trimmed it and replanted it and have already trimmed it again lol. these plants are going nuts in my tank!

Oh gosh! I totally forgot about them (obviously), I need to get those from you. I might have to take out some of my ludwig--it's looking rather pitiful--and replace it when I get your bunch.

Well haven't updated in almost 3 months. boy time flies when you are busy. as you last recall, i was tearing the 50g down because of a leaking filter and snail infestation. well i got the fish, plants, and driftwood out and had about 6" of water or so and i was trying to figure out the best way to kill off the snails without endangering the couple shrimp i had in the tank. Well under closer examination i found all the baby rcs that had survived from the 4 prego rcs i had. all in all i had about 30 babies. The wifey thought they were cute and didnt want me to kill them so the tank has been going with a couple air stones for almost 3 months now. Most of them have grown to about 1/2-3/4" or so and i was going to get ready to redo the tank and just kind of work around them. Heck i wasn't even sure they were thriving or not. That is until i got a text from my wife at work. When i got home i starting examining the tank to confirm. Yep, i have 6 prego females. So not only are they thriving but now they are reproducing like rabbits. So i am thinking about going ahead and redoing the 50g very carefully with them still in it and seeing how many survive. Will just have to wait and see!
