I am considering different fish for a 30 gallon tank and I am wondering if anyone has any experience with these. I am thinking of getting six (I'm doing stocking for a tank right now). Are these fish easy to breed? Also, what fish would be good tankmates? Are there many non-cichlid lake Tanganyika fish that would be suitable for this tank? Thanks for any and all suggestions.

i think if you started them in the tank as juveniles, they'd be ok for a little while. they max out at around 3.5 inches from what ive read, so you might need to bump up the tank size a bit at some point. but for the most part i think you'd be ok. 6 might be just a tad bit heavy though. maybe try 4?Coastie-to-be... hopefully.
