looks like a koi to me, unless you have a really large take you may want to trade him in, they can get huge, 2ft isnt really uncommon..or more haha

he is only 5 1/2 " long, if it was a koi would he not be huge by this time??
he feeds really well, they have all lived in the same tank for over 10 years so all get along pretty well, i would say he is the "boss" of the tank.
thanks for your reply's

not sure the size of my tank, its big over 100ltrs, hes fine, not acting strange at all, im not sure if hes thin, think it may just be his shape, he is big at the front and slims right down to his tail, i didnt think you could keep koi in a tank, i thought they were just for ponds.
my boyfreind already had the fish when i moved in with him 10 years ago, is it cruel to keep them in a tank?

If your tank is only ~100 liters then that is roughly 25 gallons. That size tank is not even big enough for 1 goldfish let alone multiple goldfish and a coy. You will need to find that fish a new home, with someone who has a large pond. I have herd of Coy getting to be 3 foot long. He is most likely stunted if he is only 5 or 6 inches long and is 10 years old. He should be HUGE buy now. If I were you I would rehome all but 1 of the goldfish. If you can not give up any of your fish then I would suggest that you get a tank that can hold 100+ gallons (I think 400 liters if I can remember how to convert).
Lots of tanks. Some tanks are planted. Fish include community and bettas.
