    Hi everyone!

Newbie from Greater Manchester in England.

Not only am I new to the forum but new to keeping fish! My only other keeping fish experience has been keeping it warm next to my chips!!

The other week I took advice from a reputable aquarium dealer, whatever they are called, and set myself up with something basic to begin with. I now have two Telescopic Black Moors called Laurel and Hardy, named so because one is fatter than the other and they're both really funny!!

My aquarium is more than adequate for now, but I didn't realise how big these can grow. Which means investing in a bigger one when the time comes, but that's alright!!

Anyhow, I know diddly-squat, so I'll probably be asking advice more than giving it!!

    Bye for now!!

If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

    Welcome to AC.

One week after having fish in a new tank is the time to be very careful as toxic levels will began. Please read "cycling with fish" in my link below to make sure all goes well for you (and them.)
