    Question how do i breed ghost shrimp?

    How can I breed ghost shrimp? I only have three, and the law of probability says that I must have at least 1 female. They are in a 10g tank, I have been hoping that they would just breed like my guppies, but they are not and I have had them for months and I do not want to constantly buy ghost shrimp, I want a free supply. I have done the research how to take care of their babies and the eggs should be around their swimmerettes and green or pink. But I have not seen any of this. Can someone help.

    If you haven't seen eggs in all this time you may need to pony up another 2$ for another half a dozen of them lol.

    What else is in the tank? I am presuming the list in your sig is not in a 10g tank.

    No, its not, I would a whole lot of sad animals if they were in a 10g tank lol. I have an ADF, four guppy fry, and 2 amano shrimp.

    Agreed about sad/10 comment.

    You might just need a few more to get the process going but I am not that familliar with ADF so I don't know if that could be an issue. [Meaning if they did breed would there be survivors]

    I am not at all sure what the issue is but having no company looking for a baby shrimp snack wouldn't hurt as would having more shrimp to begin with.

    Probability still gives it a 25% chance that you do no have a pair. You need more to be able to feel certain you have both sexes. Especially since probability of is erronous with sexes due to the fact that gender mix seldom is 50/50 to start with.
