Elmo shuold be arrested for abuse

Ok.. call me crazy but I hate Elmo's World on Sesame Street. IDK why I just hate people acting stupid for one. But a thought came to me today- Elmo should be arrested and fined for fish neglect and abuse! Yes. That BIG goldfish the little red monster keeps in a SMALL fish bowl that is typically half full. AHHHHHHH I want to rescue it!

There is nothing wrong with giving your opinion to someone that could actually make a difference.

Not to hijack your thread, but I remember when sesame street was an intelligent, interesting and genuinely funny show that anyone could watch with their kids. Something that tried to educate without being condescending.

I dont know what happened, but over the years it just degenerated into a noisy and irritating adhd babysitter

I remember when the actor who played Mr. Hooper died. They could have just replaced him but they knew back then that children aren't stupid. They actually had an episode that talked about death. That was groundbreaking back then and still is today. Even the way they handled it was sensitive and honest. If I ever have kids, that would be the show I would have wanted them to see..... not what passes for sesame street now

I was already a teenager when Sesame Street first started, but I loved it...

I don't know when it 'dumbed' down exactly...but it was sad, and I was an adult then. My kids never really watched the newer version of it...they didn't like it at all...and I can't blame them...
