blue tongued skinks
i am thinking of getting a blue tongued skink-does anyone know anything about them?
60L Angelfish tank/45L Blue ram tank/25L Betta tank/Rainbow lorikeet/Mini lops/Guinea pigs/Bearded dragon

Skinks are insect eaters. I'm not familiar with lizard species of NZ, so you'd have to check locally their natural diet, but either way, you'd have to culture whatever bugs your skink will eat.
Palladium or similar would be a proper home for the skink.

Blue tongue lizards are native to Australia.
Awesome critter. You can feed them mealworms & crickets (dusted with calcium powder) Silkworms. They will eat mice, cat food, snails. They'll eat fruits and vegetables. They are omnivores.

I got to hold one once at a small pet store before they closed ^_^ Gorgeous creatures.
The probability of being watched is directly proportional to the stupidity of the act
