Strip Light Rehab for a 20 gallon
I have a old strip light that use’s a starter and a ballist to light one 18”
bulb. Perfecto Brand name!
I had troble with the light coming on so I went to Lowes and got a new
bulb and starter, about 9 bucks. none of the things helped to get it to come
on. Must be the ballist! right!
What I did was buy a complete fixture and installed it into the orignal strip
The only changes I had to do was disconnect the supply wiring and
transfer it over to the old fixture’s supply cord and push button start. A
starter is no longer needed for this fix. The new fixture fits perfect, 2
screws were added to hold it in place, and the defuser removed for more
This fixture is not found in the aisle with florissant lights, its found where
kitchen cabnets are located.
