Which catfish would be best?
I have started a new 29-gallon tank. So far I have 5 zebra danios and a dwarf gourami in there. In the future I would like to add a rainbow shark and some sort of catfish. I am really in love with the pictus but I am afraid it will be a menace to my smaller fish. I would like to harbor only one catfish so corys are out of the question.
Would a pictus work fine in this tank? If not, what other cat fish would be good?

The red shark will also be a menace to your small fish and the tank is too small for one as well as the pictus. They are recommend for nothing under 55 gallon. sorry

I would add a small school of cories for catfish, but as for the Shark need a tank bigger then your 30, he may be okay in a 40 (thats what I have mine in, but hes a baby) hopefully I can get him into a bigger tank in the future
