    You are welcome. It is a cute little tank. Just not a high powered set up. I am really not sure what to do with it now.

    maybe glue led strips around the outside of the box at the top (above the water line)? If done snugly I don't think it would look too crappy and could provide better lighting...? Or some kind of clip on that surrounds the box, but doesn't touch it?

    Just a thought to try before you take down the tank...?

    I'm going to keep working at this tank. We're going to try moving it where it gets some natural light as well. I noticed that the chi at one of the LFS I shop at (my inspiration tank actually) gets a bit of natural daylight and is growing quite well. I also got a cover for it. They had just gotten them in. It doesn't totally cover the top of the tank for obvious (waterfall) reasons, but should help a lot with the evaporation. I was topping the tank off every other day to keep the filter from running dry.
