    So, just today the maxima clam's byssal thread became disattached. Is that something I should be worried about?

    Hi, I'm chris, very interested in this thread and hoping to start a reef in about 5months.
    I've read this thread from beginning to end and have learnt a lot.
    I was hoping you could give us some updates and pics, if the tank is still successfully running.
