need id please
Its the white spiky stuff at the bottom of the mushroom rock. It has a rubbery consistency and has just recently become spiky looking. Before that is had an open ended tubular appe3arance.

I'm not too sure, but I would guess Foraminiferans

Man you have got to love saltwater tanks. The stuff you end up without knowing what you bought, is awesome.
My next tank will be a saltwater experiance.Warning; Bulldog Pleco guarding my Sons tank now..

Look like a foram to me, have several of them that are very similar in my reefs. Filter feeders, will eat any microbe or naupilii that they can suck in.
