Watched "GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra" and I felt it was kind of "meh" a neutral, ok meh. As in, well now I've seen that and can check it off my list.

Paranormal Activity 4, The first movie was spooky and I didn't see 2 and 3 but number 4 was just boring, so glad I didn't spend money to see it.

Saw 'Noah' last night.
I dunno what to say. It was an odd blend of Bible, Lord of the Rings, and World War Z...
But it kept me entertained...

I heard that about Noah. My parents hated it, but they expected something more true to the story.
I was finally able to see Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. Loved it! Peter Jackson has really outdone himself with the Tolkein mythos. LotR remains one of my favorite trilogies of all time and The Hobbit is turning out to be even more entertaining at times. I think I prefer the 2nd movie to the first. It's amazing how much actually happened in the book. I read it a long time ago and I saw the animated movies, but there's some stuff I just didn't remember happening. I was pleased to be surprised. =]

I hate to say this but I didn't love the second Hobbit movie, was actually a bit disappointed. Maybe its because I loved the book. There were changes to the plot, in particular the Dwarven Escape from the Elves. And it felt like the movie went on too long and should have ended at an earlier point.

I didn't remember that from the book, either. That didn't happen? lol

No that didn't happen like that. It was more in the suspenseful sneaky nature of things and less in the action packed way.

Totaly agree with you, I even bought Evangeline Lilly, as a sexy female elf, never see to many female chracters except Galadriel mentioned in Tolkein books. The Silmarillion has few more though.

Dallas Buyers Club - I had no idea what it was about when I started watching it. It was a good movie, as far as showing the hardship of finding medical treatment for aids when it first came out - but not for kids and I won't be watching it again.
Oblivion. It was ok. It kept me awake but for some reason the story didn't really grab me - which is odd cuz I generally love sci-fi flicks even if they are bad. I'm not a fan of Tom Cruise, but he wasn't bad in this show. I guess one interesting character (Morgan Freeman) isn't enough to carry a movie.
