Saw TinTin last night! Hubby and I really enjoyed it - but we're both fans of the cartoon.
Animation was superb.
It was a wee bit slow in places, but not enough to put you off.
If you didn't like the cartoon, you might not like the animation - story and gag-wise...55 g Goldfish Tank - 5 Fancies, 2 Dojos

Just saw Girl with a Dragon Tattoo and it was wonderful. The whole movie is great, there is some people who dont like violence and sex should not go to it. I liked it a lot though, and Im going to read the books.

Last night DH and I watched the movie Sanctum it was a freebie at the movie store (so even if it was stinky I really didn't care)
While it was a long drawn out movie IMO it was pretty good. I don't think for a second that I could have survived any of that. Nor would I want to be put in that spot.
We just got 2 more movies in the mail today.... Puncture and Conan So we shall see if either are any good.
Oh and I broke down and finally saw the first part of the Godfather..Wow..
--Last one before I forget, over Xmas break we invited greatgrandma and grandma over to see our new tv (DH got a new one on black friday) and watched Dolphin Tale with the kids. Of course like a typical male (no flames please) DH didn't really care for it, I loved it and so did the kids

Your Highness DH liked it, it was stupid and boring
The smurfs Kids really liked it, I have seen this movie 3 times now (which I think is more than enough...

Up- Great movie, yes a little late but worth noting. I almost cried, and that says a lot :)
Scream 4- Terrible, besides all the nice looking girls in there, just like the first one.
Hostel 3- I would not watch if you dont like blood, torturing or anything else. The first two were better, this one kind of sucked.

Funny how many people are reading the book now that they've seen the movie (Girl WT Dragon Tattoo). I saw it awhile back and really enjoyed - watched the trilogy. They were all good, but the first was the best.
Finally saw Ip Man, pretty good. Lots of fighting, decent acting. The subtitles were a bit too americanised - they had chinese people translated as saying OK and stuff, which I don't think is a chinese idiom, lol. But if you're a martial arts junkie (I am) its a good flick. Plus based on true events.
I'm going to check out some movies thanks to the above reviews...if it makes someone cry or someones putting out coin to buy it, its worth a look!
