    Watched Pan's Labyrinth last night.
I picked it up for the visual experience, and it was that. It wasn't what I expected tho - and it ain't no childrens movie - crude language in the subtitles.
First movie I've come across that was done in spanish.
I'm not sure I actually enjoyed it, it wasn't a...comfortable/happy movie to watch, but it did hold me and I don't regret the money spent on it. They did a great job on the faun.
I likely won't watch it again on my own tho, only if company wants to see it.

Movie watching spree again.... nothing to make me say oh gosh go get it right now, but a selection of not terribles.... (glad I didn't pay for theater visits)

Contagion: Not bad! A bit jargony at points, but not bad!

Hanna: Acting was great... thought the story was going places.. and then it didn't. :(

Taken: Worth it if only see Liam Nielson make his threatening phone call.

Dark Shadows - vampire movie with Johnny Depp. It was PG-13 which I couldn't believe due to the murder and mayhem. Listed as a comedy as well. It was ok but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, and fer sure don't spend the money at the theatre!

The Hunger Games, Not a movie for small children, I hadn't read the books but my BH had so the day they released it she was at wallyworld to get it and we had to watch it that afternoon. It wasn't a bad movie but the age group of 12 to 18 of the children to be hunted was just wrong. I watch movies to be entertained and seeing even briefly a 12 year old being murdered isn't my ideal of entertainment.

MY BH told me that I can look forward to the next two movies as they get back at the individuals that run the games. That I do want to see.

Cloud Atlas. Great special effects, interesting concept...yet I was bored.

Frankenweenie: Fun! I wasn't bored, but it was a little slow going, and there was something off-putting about it. I think the caracturization (sp?) of the people was a little too extreme. They weren't at all engaging to look at (the main family was okay...).

If your a hard core Bond fan, this is the one that takes us back to the only true Bond, Connery. Lazenby, Moore, Dalton and Brosnan really didn't do it for me. Heck, Peter Sellers in the original Casino Royal was better. IMO, Craig is the best successor, and the most realistic replacement true to Flemings vision. When you see the last 10 minutes, you'll understand what I am saying here, no need for a spoiler alert from me, ever.
Life is tough, it's even tougher if you're stupid (John Wayne)
If you're not angry, you are not paying attention (Ralph Nader)

I am a Firefly fan! Picked up the entire series (only 3 dvds tho, it didn't run long) but I LOVE LOVE LOVE this show. Its not really a movie, so I guess I oughtn't talk about it here, but as I watched them all successively on dvd then got Serenity as well, I figure it counts.
So terribly disappointed it didn't run longer, but, I guess, as long running shows tend to deteriorate, perhaps it was for the best.
I didn't find the movie continued the spirit of the show quite the same, but I still enjoyed it.

@Surfdog - glad to hear that Bond is back is the way he's supposed to be!

My friends and I have a weekly Bad Movie Night, where we get together and watch movies we think will be so God-awful, they're hilarious. We just watched one called No Holds Barred. It had Hulk Hogan in it....and it was so horrible, yet so terrific at the same time. We we're doubled over the entire time.
