need help stocking 3g aquarium
My daughter got me a 3 gallon aquarium for my office at work for christmas. This aquarium will not be aquascaped as much as i would like but its ok it will have air and filter on this tank. I really do not want a betta in this tank but i do want a small school in here. so i need your help guys.

your only options with school would be micro fish. just do a search for micro rasboras and im sure you will find something nice. also a nice small heater is a must. a sponge filter might be enough depending on how many fish you try to add. might want to add a slower / smaller growing plant and some shrimp. but 3g is quite small.

I wonder if i plant one of my tiger barbs would the demon seed grow to a full tree?

yea, i will have a sponge filter and a small heater. Thanks for the plant info and rasboras where what i was thinking as well.

The OP did say in the beginning post they did not want a betta.
You can look into endler's livebearers as well. They remain tiny, are colorful, and are pretty damn hardy.

Just put in male endlers, nicer colouration anyway

well, to let you guys know, i deciding after a long debate with myself that im going to going with ghost shrimp and a beta. i will have plenty of places for the shrimp to hide, thanks for your guy's input, it is very much appreciate it.
