I need to post the final pic. The stand had more support added, skinned, molding, stained, sealed, holes drilled... etc etc

Ill try to post a pic later today... if I remember lol

Here is a corner detail of the 125g tank I just finished. I wanted an open front and this is how I did it.

Yeah, mine is way way overkill. But it is also on wheels so I beefed it up to handle the stresses of moving a 1,500 pound object.

    Wood has incredible strength...

    I like the wood grain!

I forgot to post the finished stand... first pic is raw wood and second is after stand and just sprayed clear coat. I don't have any good pictures of the stand because the lights are horrible where the tank is. I will always clear coat/seal any wood I use from now on.

Very professional in looks but far, far better than what most of us could ever get a chance to buy in any store. You are a real pro ...
    Knowledge is fun(damental)

A 75 gal with eight Discus, fake plants, and a lot of wood also with sand substrate. Clean up crew is down to just two Sterba's Corys. Filters: continuous new water flow; canister w/UV, in-tank algae scrubber!! Finally, junked the nitrate removal unit from hell.

    For Fishless cycling:
