I definitely don't think I'd feed him by hand.
That's the same little creature that someone else posted a video of it cracking a clam open, I think. Strong little guys!

Oh yea, you don't feed Mantis shrimp by hand. Quick way to get your finger broken lol.
Smaug, amazing video! I have very little interest in saltwater, but a Mantis in the one thing that may someday get me to try one!

It was the mantis that got me started in the first place. I had a mean little g chiragra mantis for my first sw critter. Very ill tempered and reclusive.

Yup,he wouldn't play well with others. Only other tank mates he will have are red leg hermits for clean up,dinner guests

This one is about 6 inches,I'm not sure but I think 8 is about max.
