so i went grocery shopping this morning. after being up all night, i have issues sleeping around xmas time. so after i get to the cash register the lady rings everything threw and the bag lady puts everything in the cart. i walked away and got 15 steps away before any one said something..... so embarrassing. the manager, i wouldnt say hes a friend but we know each other well, was bagging on me. said "Oh a thief? get the whips and handcuffs."

its worth a laugh but my face was redder than this

any one else have a space cadet moment?

No but I felt that way once after shopping and got to the door and the alarms starting blaring and everyone come running over to me. Something that I had paid for had not be deactiviated and set off the alarms.

Of course other shoppers give you that disgusted look.

I kept setting off the alarms at Walmart for a while...and it turned out to be something I had bought at another store and hadn't even considered...

Talk about embarassing...NO ONE believes that you didn't shop-lift...

...well...at least not until after they've gone through your purse and your pockets...
