    gday all i am very new to this i only have 22 gallon tank. i had no idea about cycle to i made my fish tank loaded it up and added 3 guppies. i done my first test i have a reading of 0ppm ammonia not done my nitrite test yet have to buy that tomorrow. i had it running since last wednesday i done 3 days letting it run then added my fish on the third day i added plants from my old goldfish tank and ever since the water is cloudy i have used stress zyme and api water condition to help the bio filter out. i have done two 20% water chages and no difrence in the cloudy water HELP am i going to stuff this up

    Your tank is in the beginning stages of cycling - 3 guppies aren't going to add very much ammonia to a 22gal so it will probably take quite some time. You will need to keep up with your testing of ammonia to make sure it never goes above a reading of 0.25ppm because it could harm your fish. If it does, you will need to do a water change to bring the ammonia down. Make sure you use a dechlorinator for every water change.

    As for testing everything, your best bet is to get a liquid testing kit that tests ammonia, nitrites & nitrates and to read up on cycling with fish. There are a few members here (namely Lady Hobbs) who have articles about that you should read.
