    Hi im new my blue apple snail fell from her tank & I tried glueing egg shell. she seems ok but in the end did your snail make it? I might be paranoid but what if the glue got on he? I dont think it did but im worried even snail jelly hasnt luered her out yet since the repair

    Hi, Snailgeek88. Sorry to hear about your little lady and her fall. What kind of damage did her shell sustain?

    Shelly eventually passed away (as snails do), and I confirmed that the inside of his shell had indeed calcified over the egg shells (woohoo!). Unfortunately for him, some manner of grit had also made its way in there and there was a nodule of excessive calcification that I suspect started to nudge into his soft little body and may have contributed to his eventual demise.

    I can say, though, that when I performed these repairs, Shelly was verrry slow to venture outside his shell again, but once out, was like a 'normal' snail again very quickly.

    Any update for us? Hope all's well.
