its 100 gallons; still aquascaping it, but what do you guys think? i still have to plant live plants. i don't yet because the filter did not yet arrive.

Looks good. You dont need a filter to have live plants, just adequate lighting for the species of plants you want.

well, its just that, i want to check if everything is ok first before adding in plants, and i don't want to leave the lights open yet if the tank isn't cycling yet. thanks though :)

Cycling with plants is very possible and not difficult at all.

The plants won't have a signifigant impact on your cycle, and they will enjoy the extra ammoina to use

I so understand wanting live plants. I planted my 29g not that long ago. I was sick of all the fake stuff, especially seeing everybody on heres tanks. I am sure that it will look nice. With the way it looks now I would not do a ton of plants. Like I said in my first reply looks great as is. I bet that you are happy with a tank that size.
