Big Project much help needed
Hi everyone , we are complete novices to tropical fish keeping we have had some years expirience of pond keeping though.
I run a pet store selling a vast range of products to pet owners, we have had a huge demand for fish within our store and are setting up 6 tanks to keep fish to sell to the general public,We have thought long and hard before deciding to sell live animals and want to provide the best possible instore enviroment we can. We are using 4 tanks for tropical and 2 for coldwater, each tank will run its own filter and heating system.Last edited by Lady Hobbs; 11-23-2011 at 03:03 AM. Unless you already have the tanks, filters & heaters I would suggest you use a commercial rack system as it will be far more efficient from a heating, WC, & Maintenance perspective. Water parameter stability is greatly improved in larger systems also.

lol , there isnt a question here as i was just introducing myself lol, although i have left a few questions around the forum, 850R i would like to invest in a commercial system, but budget and inexpirience dictates i have to start with the seperate systems although they will be racked together three rows high with 2 tanks on each row , coldwater at the bottom.

I understand what you mean but if you check the link I posted you will see that in a rack system like I refered to, The tanks are connected and use a single filtration & heating system. They are not simply stacked together.
I just noticed this is in the intro section lol - oops. Best to continue this elsewhere.
