....continued from previous post on pg.2.
Hershey -- male Ryukin Goldfish who used to be all chocolate colored.

Changes:
• Removed all Echinodorus species as Pepper was mauling them.
• Rescaped tank & added more Anubias specimens from Tropical Haven
• Calico fantail, Kanji developed tumors and had to be euthanized
• Hershey is now all orange and has developed breeding stars so he's a mature adult Ryukin now. His color may still change in time. He's still young at 5 yrs. old.
• Only one White Cloud Mountain Minnow left -- the rest succumbed to old age. The one left is 3 yrs. old now.

Can't believe I'm only now discovering your thread! I printed the list you posted earlier of goldie appropriate plants and if I can get my goldie tank looking even a third as good as yours I will be extremely happy! I too pair goldies with white clouds (13 gold and 9 regular) and I love them! (also have kuhlies and a pleco) sorry to hear about your losses.
Thanks for the entertaining thread and gorgeous pics!

Thank you so much for your interest. Glad you're finding the info. & photos handy =) Appreciate your condolences, too! It's not fun losing fish who've been around for years.

Not sure what 3 chemicals you're referring to, but I've been using Excel for many, many years with great success. There are, however, plants that do not like Excel, so you need to check into that before using the product. Good luck!
