AmyLynn's 75 gallon planted
Plans are for the tank to go up tomorrow. Putting the first coat of paint on the background tonight. Second coat will go on in the morning before I run to the barn.
Lights will be t5ho current fixture, total of 108 watts. Filtration is an eheim ecco 2234 and a Rena XP2.
Current fish are the two pearl gourami, 6 dwarf neon rainbows, 2 SAE's, 2 synodontis nigriventis (upside-down catfish) and 1 lonely panda cory. Wanting to up my cories again since the one seems to be happy and much more active. Also wanting to add something red (by request) to the tank. Not sure if rosy barbs might be a bit too large. The requester seems to like platies.
Pictures to come as we start the setup/transfer process tonight and tomorrow. Because, as I already know........

The transfer has been made!
Friday night and Saturday we put 3 coats of paint on the back of the tank and did some running for supplies.
Sunday was the big day. Spent nearly 8 hours transfering everything and setting it all up. But it looks AWESOME! Along with moving everything over I also added some Jungle Val, Italian Val and a new Red Flame sword.
Beginning the transfer process.
Done!! Look at the size difference!

A slightly cloudy full tank shot.
Please meet the newest inhabitant, Pinto Bean, the platinum angel. The cutest, bravest, most curious little guy in the tank.

Wow, you're off to a great start!
When in doubt, do a water change.

Thanks guys.
I think I'm really going to enjoy this tank. It's nice not having my background and midground plants all smushed together.

Tank looks amazing! Rosy barbs will be fine in there with that stock, a group of 9-12 males would really add a touch of color.

Nice looking tank
You have done a really nice job with itIf you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.
