Tank arrived last night. I did 3 hours of work on it last night... and I've got lots to do today. I'll post some pictures later that will somewhat document the progress.

Not too bad actually Dave. Since most of what is in there is just left-over coralline from the previous reef setup, I'm not going to worry about that too much. If the tank had come from some random person on CL, I'd clean it really well, but since I know the people, and I know the previous setup I'm not going to worry too much.
Here's what it looked like last night right after we got it in place. At this point, I hadn't done anything to it.

I love the stand and canopy combo. That's going to be a great looking set-up
I'm looking forward to seeing this set-up come together
If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

Sharp!
A couple of really large tanks seem to be populating this board lately. :)

Here's an update on today's work.

Have to replace one more bulkhead and it will be all good to go. Filling it to just below the overflows to get the water mixing.

With the door back on it looks even better. Can't wait to see it as you start to stock.

Tank is filled to just below the overflows now. Will wait to start mixing the salt until after I get the new bulkhead installed, I don't want to have to drain it at all. Draining FW is no big deal, SW is a bit more of a waste. I'll be getting the new bulkhead at my local reef club meeting tonight. I'll also post a better picture of the tank tonight as well. Right now there is a reflection from the window.
