To loach or not to loach
I have a pond-snail infestation growing in my new 25 gallon tank, and I was wondering if adding a loach would help get rid of the sorry things. I know loaches do better in groups, but my sister has only one that she'd let me "borrow" for a while, then I'd return it to her. Her tank no longer has a snail problem.
The only stock is shrimps right now (fish to be added shortly) and I was wondering if the loach would go after the shrimp instead of the snails.
Also, there are a few assassin snails in there as well, so I'm assuming the loach would snack on them as well? I can try to pull them out and put them into another tank so they'll be safe, as an option to the loach eating them.
Thanks, anybody.Dragoon Woman

i would let your assassin snails do there duty, dont get or borrow a fish just to rid yourself of a infestation. pluck them off when you see them and your assissin snails should handle the ones you dont see.

Good to know
Thank you. I'll try trapping them instead of adding a loach.
