  1. Default Neons

I have a small tank and want Neons in the tank, i have a heater and filter and light, do i need to put bubbles in the water.
Do i need to test the water from the tap?

Smaug is correct. Most of us here would recommend using a tap water conditioner, doing a fishless cycle and making sure your water conditions are really solid. Neons are fragile...so try a few hardy species first then use the neons.

We will usually want to know what size tank and what type of filter you are using and I would recommend the API master freshWater test kit to keep an eye on what is going on in your tank.

Let us know and we will be glad to help.
