    Ive gotten that id at reef central but Im still not sure. all the dig hyd I have seen pics of have a fuzzy/bristly appearance to the stem,these are smooth,sort of like dental floss and very stretchy [I pulled them already,bare handed,no sting].

    Just a wild guess here, but if its not a digitate hydroid, could have you just pulled out the tenticals of a spaghetti worm? is there a tube that you could see ?
